RESUMO: Este estudo pretende responder se a linha editorial de Diálogo Universitário tem se adaptado à onda secularizadora que caracteriza a religiosidade contemporânea dos jovens. Levanta-se a hipótese que o periódico tem uma postura conservadora, refletindo o discurso contracultural peculiar à cosmovisão e missão adventistas. Esse posicionamento ideológico pode ser observado no projeto editorial e gráfico da revista, que confere, respectivamente, uma ênfase cognitiva, ética e institucional aos artigos, bem como a hegemonia do texto e da reflexão sobre a imagem e a sensação. O objetivo geral desta pesquisa é descrever e analisar o comportamento editorial de Diálogo , diagnosticar quais temas foram mais freqüentes em suas capas e contrastar os mesmos com o perfil da religiosidade contemporânea dos universitários adventistas brasileiros. Como objetivo específico, pretende-se identificar sua sensibilidade aos principais desafios e possibilidades apresentados por um ministério para os universitários.

Identity in Question: An Analysis of the Editorial Procedures of the Magazine Diálogo Universitário in Postmodern Times
Abstract: This study pretends to answer the question if the editorial line of Diálogo Universitário has adapted itself to the secularizing wave that characterizes the religiosity of contemporary young people. It raises the hypothesis that the magazine has a conservative standing, reflecting the counterculture standing characteristic of the Adventist worldview and mission. This ideological standing can be verified in the editorial and graphic project of the magazine that relates, respectively, a cognitive, ethical and institutional emphasis to the articles, as well as an hegemony of text and reflection over image and feelings. The general goal of this research is to describe and to analyze Diálogo 's editorial procedures, to diagnostic which themes were the most frequent ones in its cover and to establish a contrast with the contemporary profile of the religiosity of the Brazilian Adventist university students. As a specific goal, it aims to verify the magazine's sensibility to the major challenges and opportunities of a ministry oriented to university students.
